Prior to the pandemic, I had been writing as a means of dealing with anxiety that came because of an illness I had earlier in the year. During this time, I struggled in many areas in my faith and needed an outlet. Writing was that outlet.

And then the pandemic struck.

It was then that I realized what a wonderful opportunity was right before Christians. Everyone was at home and just about everything had transitioned to online. There was a captive audience. If only someone would be able to get a study group together to share the Gospel online during this time.  

I thought about doing it, but I didn’t really know anyone who would really be interested in this and a study group of one really isn’t that great. But then when my pastor suggested that I lead an online group that focused on the series, The Chosen, I decided to give it a try.

We went from a small group of believers who all knew each other to a couple of thousand in the group from all over the world. We now have a ZOOM Bible study for each season of The Chosen.

So what started out with much trepidation has led me to some really amazing new friends who love God and learning about Him as much as I do.
